April 30, 2025 — Today, we are proud to be launching the Zenith Health platform: the Zenith Pregnancy Evidence Project and Ask Penny!
We’re launching our platform to help women navigate pregnancy with real data, not just opinions, anecdotes or pseudoscience — while learning from the millions of experiences already happening in the real world to improve knowledge and care for all.
Today, questions like “is this symptom normal?” or “can I take this medication?” are often met with vague advice or outdated guidance — not because we don’t all want the best guidance and care for expecting moms, but because sometimes the data simply isn’t there to support a better answer.

Zenith helps women by empowering them to both access and contribute to the best evidence on pregnancy. Today, we are excited to bring two new capabilities to pregnant people:
Ask Penny
“Penny” is a free, easy-to-use tool built to curate personalized information specific to your pregnancy questions — so you’re never left wondering “ is this normal?” about your symptoms, or “Can I do this?”. Penny draws from high-quality sources like peer-reviewed research, clinical guidelines, and insights from the Pregnancy Evidence Project.
Fun Fact: Not only is Penny your trusted pal for pregnancy questions, “Penny” also doubles as a nickname for “Pregnancy Evidence Navigator” — exactly what we’re all about!
Pregnancy Evidence Project
The Zenith Pregnancy Evidence Project is designed to become the most ambitious and comprehensive maternal health research project ever assembled. Based on a patient-powered research model, individuals affected by gaps in data and in care can actively help close them. The Pregnancy Evidence Project is an IRB-governed research initiative, which enables women to opt-in to share their experiences so we can study and learn from the millions of real-world data points happening each year.
